The Challenge
North Super Fast Service moves shipments across West Bengal and beyond from a network of branches and cross-dock centres. The delivery work was solid. The record of it was not.
Dockets were written by hand and entered later, sometimes days later. Manifests were built in spreadsheets that lived on one person's laptop. When a client called to ask where a consignment was, someone had to phone the branch, and the branch had to find the register. Nobody in the head office could answer a simple question — how many shipments went out this week, how many are still undelivered, which clients are sending the most volume — without an afternoon of adding things up.
Proof of delivery was the worst of it. PODs came back as paper, got misplaced, and billing waited on them. Money that had been earned sat unclaimed because the paperwork couldn't be found.
The company had scale. What it didn't have was a single place where that scale was visible.
The Biznexa Solution
We built NSFS CMS — one system that runs the entire shipment lifecycle, from the moment a docket is created to the moment the POD is closed.
Docket and manifest management. Staff create dockets directly in the system with sender, receiver, and service type. Dockets group into manifests for a trip, so what used to be a spreadsheet handed to a driver is now a record the office can see. Over 33,000 dockets and 1,500 manifests are in the system today.
Status tracking that reaches the customer. Every shipment moves through defined stages — picked up, in transit, out for delivery, delivered — and each change is timestamped against the person who made it. That same status feeds the tracking box on the public website, so a customer with a tracking ID gets an answer without calling anyone.
A live operations dashboard. The management view shows total and delivered dockets, this week's volume, delayed shipments needing attention, pending PODs, and a twelve-month trend line. Top clients are ranked by volume, so the team can see at a glance that a handful of pharma distributors account for most of their business. Questions that used to take an afternoon now take a glance.
A mobile app for the field. Branch and delivery staff update shipment status from their phones instead of reporting back to someone with a computer. The dashboard reflects it immediately. This is what makes the whole system work — data captured where the work happens, not re-typed afterwards.
Fleet, companies and role-based access. Vehicles and client companies are managed inside the system, and users get permissions matched to their role, so a branch operator sees their work while management sees everything.
The company now runs on one source of truth. The 83.3% delivery rate on the dashboard isn't a figure someone compiled for a meeting — it's the system reporting on itself, live.
